SYNOPSIS

THE RUN, THE COMPETITION, THE DREAM

Valentina Petrillo is a visually impaired trans athlete. Strong of the titles achieved in the past in the male category, she intends to crown her sports career by competing, as a woman, in the Tokyo 2020 Paralympics. If that dream comes true, she would be the first trans* athlete to represent Italy in an international competition. But the path is long and difficult: her most dangerous opponents – indifference and prejudice – are waiting for her off the running track.
